Position Summary

A member of the professional staff, this position contributes general knowledge and skill in a discipline area (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Resort Operations, Sales & Marketing etc.) to support team and/or department objectives. Generally, works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision-making process.

The Marketing Ops Manager (Manager) will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Operations team and Marketing program channels for all brands. The Manager will assist the Marketing Ops team in all facets of marketing that supports tour and package growth at our sites.

The position ensures that all marketing and logistic plans are aligned with the company's best practices and ensures corporate brand standards are maintained. All Marketing program execution shall comply with applicable Brand and Legal standards.

Expected Contributions

Marketing Administration

Responsible for the day-to-day activities to maintain Marketing Correspondence Page on TRIP and Viva Engage which includes:Create and maintain Marketing Collateral library.Update and maintain all Marketing Channel SOP's.RSVP Bounce Back package program support.Support the Marketing Team by:Producing Monthly/Quarterly Decks for Marketing Leadership.Marketing Employee Flight Plans.Marketing Compensation Plans.Facilitate technology for all monthly/quarterly calls.Responsible for annual Shutterfly order from all sites.Marketing Advisory Board Administrator.Provide regional AVP team with ongoing administrative/reporting support.Coordinates Annual Marketing Excellence Conference regional event in partnership with regional leaders (collateral, shipping/receiving, order tracking).Write and edit Marketing Spotlight Article, partnering with marketing leadership to ensure a Top Line submission in the Marketing Sales Newsletter.Partner with The Agency on the Annual / Biannual Group Print Orders by region.Responds to comments, when appropriate, to foster a positive community and add value to the associate's experience.
ReportingCreate and maintain marketing reporting page on TRIP.Liaise with department leaders to:Understand the departments' requirements, refresh timelines, and collate content.Edit material to meet required platform specifications.Creating weekly tour forecast for Roadshows and Events.Manage daily event bookings report.Monthly Marketing Ops summary.Monthly Events, Roadshows and Cruise summaries.

Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.Responds to, solves, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk. Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff.Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution.participating in setting department operating plans.recognizing and celebrating team successes.achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility.Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.Performs other duties as appropriate.
Candidate Profile Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows: Generally, a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Resources). College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.
EducationBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, public relations, marketing, business, or communications - Marketing/Advertising.
ExperienceMinimum of three years' experience Program Management or related field. Marketing experience would be a benefit.Proven experience delivering effective communications that deliver against our strategies, on time and on budget.Skilled writer and editor.Strong understanding and demonstrable application of the principles of Information Architecture design for intranet sites preferred.Extensive experience in Windows operating systems with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint.High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies.Experience and proficiency in visual and written content creation.Timeshare/Hospitality/lodging industry experience a plus. MVW-specific knowledge, an advantage.Experience with data analysis an advantage.
Skills/AttributesDemonstrated ability in conceptualizing, planning, organizing, and implementing multi-faceted marketing campaigns.Exceptional writing, editing, communication skills, active listening, and ability to translate those skills into online communications.Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Effective presentation and facilitation skills required.Demonstrable consulting skills with proven ability to interface with senior leaders.Strong business acumen including MVW's brands and culture.Must be motivated, self-starter with a high energy level and the ability to work well within a team, as well as on own initiative.Ability to work under pressure, on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Excellent organizational skills and ability to self-prioritize daily workload.Working knowledge of space planning, audio visual planning, food and beverage planning, meeting space to rooms ratios, transportation services, email marketing.Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when dealing with sensitive issues.During events, must be physically capable to endure long hours in a fast-paced environment involving extensive walking/running, pushing/pulling boxes and other equipment as needed.
