Job Description:

We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented QA Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a QA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web1 and web3 marketplace. You will be responsible for testing and validating various aspects of our platform to identify and resolve any issues before they impact the user experience. Your focus will be on delivering a seamless and error-free marketplace to our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive testing of our web1 and web3 marketplace to identify and document defects, bugs, and issues.

2. Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.

3. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage.

4. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate the platform's performance across different devices and browsers.

5. Conduct visual automated regression testing to verify the consistency of visual elements and user interface components across software releases.

6. Validate the accuracy and completeness of data, including domain listings, transactions, and user information.

7. Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

8. Monitor and analyze test results, providing timely and accurate reports to the development team and management.

9. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance QA methodologies, processes, and tools.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging QA trends to improve testing strategies and techniques.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

2. Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.

3. Familiarity with testing web applications, across different browsers and devices.

4. Automated test experience.

5. Familiarity with Automated Visual Testing using Percy or Selenium or similar.

6. Experience with testing blockchain technologies and smart contracts is a plus.

7. Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify, troubleshoot, and communicate issues effectively.

9. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced startup environment.

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly document test results and provide feedback to the team.
