Marketing Specialist P&C Pro

Position Summary
This position is responsible for generating sales of accountant's professional liability, lawyer's professional liability and other miscellaneous insurance coverages to new and existing customers.
Expectations
- Solicit new business by phone and mail, assess insurance needs, obtain effective dates of existing coverage(s), obtain applications to quote on insurance. Make a minimum of 10 connections per day
- Become P&C licensed if not already.
- Become familiar with professional liability insurance features and explain coverage details to clients and assess any changing needs in coverage
- Develops, identifies and secures relevant direct sales opportunities
- Maintains data base of contacts including direct sales prospects with expiration dates and broker prospects
- Prepares reports on contacts made, requests for quote, hit ratio, written premium in CRM database

Requisites
- Must have Direct sales experience - 2+ years
- Professional Liability insurance experience preferred
- Degree preferred
