We are hiring a Sr. Software Tool Engineer to work in Laurel, MD. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.
Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues.
- Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6
- Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6
- Stay up to date with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer. Eight (8) years experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator , or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- TS/SCI Polygraph required.
- DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1
- Ability to obtain PRIVAC and SYS3
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
- Know login management.
- Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shooting
- Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
- Experience with load balancing technologies
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with scripting and automation tools a plus
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:
- DNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of Infoblox
- Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets
- In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
