Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:The Nursing Professional Development Associate (NPDA) will perform coordination tasks across various program service lines within the Center for Professional Practice & Development that supports the overall functioning of departmental programs. The NPDA will have primary assignments among the following programs with the expectation to cross-train to additional programs. The various programs include: Onboarding/Orientation and Transition to Practice programs. The NPD Associate will be proficient in time management and prioritization of tasks with a dedicated focus on both internal & external customer-service.

Program Coordination: Supports the successful implementation and outcomes of onboarding, orientation and transition to practice programs through coordination of daily operations including, but not limited to: scheduling of facilitators, faculty and space resources, maintenance of associated contracts and vendors, maintenance and use of required equipment, technology and instructional tools needed to facilitate learning. Responsible for classroom set up and breakdown including equipment, teaching tools, learning resources. Places orders for necessary supplies needed to facilitate learning.

Data Maintenance: Supports program success through data mining, database creation and maintenance, creation of reports related to program metrics. Creates program surveys for data collection with direction from director/manager. Maintains program action, decision trackers, charters and regulatory/accreditation documents. Creates classes and closes classes in LMS. Supports registration process and ensures required prerequisites are met prior to enrollment by learners and facilitators. Ensures evaluations for all programs are provided, collected and mined for relevant data. Provides administrative support for associated committees by creating and publishing agendas, taking minutes and assisting with meeting facilitation by ensuring necessary equipment, tools, references are available for discussion.

Customer Service: Advocates for a learning culture and nursing professional development through effective customer service for internal and external stakeholders including learners, facilitators, faculty, nursing leadership, organizational colleagues, vendors, accreditation and regulatory bodies.

Change Agent: Serves as a successful change agent through effective data collection, storytelling and articulation of the who, what, when, where, why and how of nursing professional development and transition to practice programs. Establishes and maintains trust with learners, nursing and key stakeholders. Advocates for safety in patient care and within the work environment by raising concerns, reporting safety events, reporting conditions that could cause a safety event (near misses) as it relates to transition to practice programs, learning culture and creating time to learn, practice and synthesize new knowledge, skills, behaviors and critical thinking.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education Required: Associate Degree

Preferred: Bachelor Degree

Specify Degree(s): Liberal Arts, Business, Program management, Instructional Design

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years of previous job-related experience

Preferred: Experience as an instructional designer

Licensure/Certifications:

Preferred: Certification in program management

Computer Skills Required:

Basic Keyboarding Skills , Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word and Visio
