The Position:

AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Engineer (MJC)-Senior to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as an Engineer (MJC)-Senior may include:

  • Develops and operates software written in C++ that controls/coordinates robotics and antenna positioning systems along with radio frequency (RF) instrumentation (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and other RF receivers)
  • Uses Qt in an anechoic chamber testing facility
  • Supports electronic warfare (EW) test activities with customers
  • Develops and utilizes data analysis scripts using Python/MATLAB to assist customers in getting the data that supports their test objectives
  • Works with mechanical engineers and technicians to develop new EW test capabilities
  • Troubleshoots existing EW test capabilities.
