JOB TITLE: Fence Coordinator LOCATION: Santa Barbara, California NON- EXEMPT/FULL-TIME $ $30.00 per hour. Combined with our rich competitive benefit package and the rewarding work we do for the environment make MarBorg a great place to work POSITION SUMMARY: The individual is responsible for assisting and learning the operation of the day-to-day activities within the Fence Team.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess detailed knowledge of temporary fence installation and job safety knowledge as well as excellent communication and a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and build strong relationships with existing and new customers. Will be responsible for maintaining accurate documents and ensuring that all customer information is up-to-date and organized. Position requires the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Additional duties include supporting Portable Restroom, Septic and Grease teams as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following : Professionally handle internal/external calls and inquiries related to fence, portable restrooms, septic and grease. Communicates with customers via phone and email to receive/schedule orders for service starts, stops, changes, and exchanges.

Process orders for fence, portable restroom, septic and grease service and audit data entry to ensure that all information is current. Collaborate with customers and other departments to gather project requirements and specifications. Shadow on-site assessments with Sales & Fence Supervisor to understand project scope and site conditions for quoting purposes.

Perform job walks and site checks on new and existing customers. Create and submit permit applications. Pickup and delivery of parts and tools.

Learn the industry by following best practices with industry trends, pricing, and materials to ensure competitive and up-to-date estimates. Attending industry events to represent the company to generate new leads. Obtain customer feedback from projects.

Addresses complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated personnel for investigation. Make process improvements suggestions based on feedback. Complete required paperwork for customers and the fence team.

Prepare and follow-up of customer quotes. Follow-up with leads using the LEAD generation program. Learn, assist, and create standard operating procedures on costing of work orders.

Learn, assist, and create standard operating procedures on how to process billing for fence orders. Help make this a fun place to work. Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals.

Supports the MarBorg Mission. Performs other duties as assigned in a professional and efficient manner. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Periodic delegation to fence team as needed.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Active Listening, Communication, Customer Service, Detail Oriented, Interpersonal Skills and Planning KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE: 4 years of prior experience in fence industry and construction project management preferred. Ability to read blueprint a plus.

Proficient in building trusting relationships with customers and being attentive to their needs. Customer focused and exceptional listening abilities. Ability to effectively make quick sound decisions.

Excellent organizational and planning skills to prioritize tasks and manage time and resources appropriately. Strong ability to multi-task in fast pace environment and high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate to all levels of management and customers both verbally and written.

Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team to meet MarBorg's customer service standards. Ability to work on a PC, accessing and navigating multiple software applications in a MS Office Windows environment while talking to the customer on the phone. Keying data entry efficiently and accurately with proficiency in typing/keyboard is required.

Bilingual English and Spanish skills a plus. EDUCATION: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of related customer service experience required. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions while out in the fence yard. Occasional field environments that may require some travel from site to site and frequently exposed to dust, grease, fumes, or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; and risk of electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and dirty while visiting the yard & customer job sites. Required to put on protective footwear, safety vest, gloves, and hardhat in designated areas. PIa f
