Seasonal Part-Time Recycling Zone Workers

Position Overview:
Our Recycling Zone Workers work a part-time schedule and support the operations of our hazardous household waste & recycling center by performing a variety of light-industrial activities while taking care of customers. Feel good about the work you're doing, the business you're supporting, and make REALLY good money doing it.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in unloading items from individual vehicles into carts & dumpsters
* Answer questions from customers
* Unload carts and perform basic identification/sorting tasks
* Maintain proper housekeeping
* Open used oil containers and dump into drain tub
* Move full 55-gallon drums of paints/solvents around using hand cart
* Consistently follow work instructions and operating procedures
* Periodically operate forklift
* Occasionally stack tires in the storage cage

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED required
* Customer centricity to internal and external customers
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* Multi-tasking skills, prioritization skills, and strong sense of urgency
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and change priorities as needed, allowing for optimum effectiveness
* Highly self-motivated and directed; ability to work independently and work well under pressure, handle multiple disciplines concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines under limited direction
