Salary:
$20-$23 per hour

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required.
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreigntrained physician, paramedic, etc.) required.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
  • A least 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
  • 6 or more months of phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
  • EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities:

This is a full time remote position, but must be willing to travel to a 3-day New Colleague Orientation during their first 90 days, but no additional travel is needed.

  • Must possess a high degree of emotional intelligence and integrity, driven and focused work ethic.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to think creatively and work effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors, and market leadership.
  • Strong communicator that is customeroriented.
  • Excellent critical reasoning, decisionmaking, and problemsolving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.
  • Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel plus a variety of other wordprocessing, spreadsheet, database, email, and presentation software.
  • Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings.
