Job Summary:
HCA TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an experienced physician to join as the transitional year residency program director for their new program starting in 2025.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified in internal medicine
- Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of prior academic leadership appointments and experience per the ACGME requirements
- TN medical license or ability to obtain
- Experience in clinical supervision of residents
- Dedicated administrative time
- Part time position, ability to work remainder of time independently (hospitalist, private, periop, etc)
- Serve as an advisor and role model
- Teach didactics and lead curriculum development
- Engage in administrative and scholarly activities
- Resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action
