Role: Technical Pharmacovigilance Product Specialist

Roles/Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of IT Industry work experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance of software applications in Health & Life Sciences with various types of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies

• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle management, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

• Provide technical expertise and support for PV systems, addressing any issues that arise.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports to ensure project milestones are met.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in Research and Development and Medical Devices domains.

• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize PV systems.

• Train and mentor junior team members on PV best practices and project methodologies.

• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with PV system implementations and upgrades.

• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and project delivery processes.

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including user guides and system manuals. - Qualifications - Possess strong technical skills in PV industry.

• Have a solid understanding of product lifecycle management and project management methodologies.

• Demonstrate experience in Research and Development or Medical Devices domains is a plus.

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Show proficiency in developing and maintaining project plans and schedules.

• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be capable of training and mentoring junior team members.

• Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years of experience on Pharmacovigilance systems.

• Experienced on SQL, PLSQL, ITIL, Ticketing tool, HP ALM, COTS Product Knowledge.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
