Job Overview
The Digital Data Manager is a subject matter expert on data that is collected and used in the digitally enabled customer facing ecosystems of T-Mobile. The Digital Data Manager works closely with experience design, business execution, digital analytics, and digital technology stakeholders to design, specify, and perform quality testing for data created in T-Mobile's digital customer experiences. The Digital Data Manager will be a participant in the software development and experience authoring life cycle of T-Mobile's digital experiences. The Digital Data Manager is an expert in the technologies used to manage digital customer data for segmentation and for analytics. Additionally, the Digital Data Manager will need to understand the first and third party data required to describe the customer and the customer's activities across their interactions with T-Mobile for purposes of segmentation definition to enable contextual marketing and personalization.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead data design and collection activities for projects that create or modify customer facing digital experiences, including app and web. This includes: analysis of what needs to be measured; definition of new metrics and dimensions including prescribing values for those metrics and dimensions; creation of software requirements for developers and authors to enable the collection of data; and execution of quality assurance activities to validate that the data is being produced and captured per the design.-Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write Analytics requirements concisely and clearly for audiences ranging from business stakeholders to technical developers.-Ability to operate on multiple levels and balance requirements between them; must be able to be simultaneously customer oriented and process oriented.-Superior analytical skills and commercial acumen, possesses demonstrable analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/synthesize business needs into business requirements and can then translate those business requirements into technical data collection requirements for developers.Segmentation analysis and management: The Digital Data Manager may participate in the process to determine what segments definitions are required within the digital ecosystem to deliver contextual experiences or provide specific audiences to downstream marketing platforms. This work entails understanding the business needs of marketing or experience stakeholders, analyzing existing segment definitions, and as needed, defining and building new segments in marketing tools to enable audience creation for contextual digital experiences, outbound messaging, digital advertising, etc.Education:Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent (Required)Master's/Advanced Degree Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent (Preferred)Work Experience:4-7 years Front-end development and analytics/data definition and instrumentation experience, specifically in Adobe Analytics(building reports, dashboards and generating insights), Google Analytics or any other Advance Web/Mobile App Analytics platform (Required)Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics - Experience in implementing and/or working with Technical implementors and working with business stakeholders on data reporting requirements (Required)Demonstrable experience working in a software development organization including attaining practical knowledge of software delivery lifecycle models.
