Promotes, organizes, and administers extramural and intramural sports programs to coincide with scheduled higher-level tournaments for the same sport within established agency policy and objectives.
Coordinates use of athletic facilities and equipment for scheduled play or special events.Prepares and disseminates publicity material on scheduled sports programs and special events through available printed media and discussions with command representatives.
Arranges and conducts clinics for all intramural sports. Develops guidelines, bylaws, and schedules for intramural league competition. Designs and maintains statistical records on teams and individual performance.Determines winners and runners-up (team and individual), sportsmanship, and most valuable players where applicable. Procures trophies, plaques, medals and other awards. Prepares and submits required reports.
Supervises one full-time NF-2 staff member and up to 2 seasonal laborers as necessary to coordinate events, facilities and equipment maintenance.
Coordinates championships in all sports from the intramural level to the Northern Pacific Intramural Sports Conference championship level. Arranges messing, berthing, transportation, and publicity for tournaments as required.
Designs and maintains statistical records on teams and individual performance. Determines winners and runners-up (team and individual), sportsmanship, and most valuable players where applicable.
Procures trophies, plaques, medals and other awards. Prepares and submits required reports.
