Your Impact:

Are you an industry leader in industrial cybersecurity? Your executive level technical leadership and reputation for technical excellence in the ICS cybersecurity community will be instrumental to the Executive Director of our OT and Cybersecurity Team. In this role, you will be responsible for both portfolio technical execution and growth. You will interface directly with clients to communicate substantive technical offerings and function as a thought leader both within Jacobs and publicly on all topics related to OT cybersecurity. You will work with Jacobs leaders across the company to understand their market specific OT and cybersecurity needs and align strategy and resources to effectively support them. You will develop a technical strategy to make offerings repeatable and efficient to maximize sales and quality of delivery. You will be responsible for understanding cybersecurity needs across markets including water, transportation, energy, life sciences and national security and develop strategies to embed cybersecurity and resilience into our largest programs.

As Executive Director of OT & Cybersecurity, you report to the VP of OT & Cybersecurity and function as his senior technical representative to the business. You will work with line managers to improve quality of delivery ensuring teams are utilizing contemporary technology, tools, and consultative services to drive exemplary performance and strong growth. You will develop relationships with market executives, program managers, and technical leaders across the business to ensure seamless cybersecurity support to major program. In this role, you will also assist with strategic initiatives including direct to client consulting, managed services, and 3rd party vendor partnerships. You will be adept at creating a culture of technical excellence in cybersecurity and play a leadership role in the Jacobs OT cybersecurity community of practice. The Executive Director will work directly with network, cybersecurity, and system engineering team members to train and mentor them in alignment with career progression plans. Finally, you'll be an energetic and visionary technical leader with the ability to represent Jacobs at conferences, public events, and in the press on important OT cybersecurity topics and Jacobs cybersecurity solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain technical standards, tools, and innovation roadmap for cybersecurity and engineering delivery within our OT cybersecurity practice
  • Interface with senior program managers and technical staff across the business to design and integrate solutions in OT on largest programs with consideration of schedule and resources on OT Cyber Team
  • Work with line managers to support major programs informing execution approach and working with individual team members to drive exemplary delivery
  • Develop and maintain OT technical tools, software, and hardware to budget and highest technical delivery standards consistent with industry best practices in cybersecurity and operational technology
  • Develop market strategies for OT cybersecurity growth in partnership with VP, OT & Cybersecurity
  • Lead client sales calls on major new OT & cybersecurity opportunities
  • Serve as solution architect on major sales proposals
  • Create thought leadership content for blogs, video, and other Jacobs marketing activities in authoritative, executive fashion representing Jacobs cybersecurity solutions
  • Define and develop metrics to measure key indicators including value, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Identify roadblocks and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.

Here's what you'll need :

  • A Bachelor's degree required and at least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
  • 5 years of experience working in industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments in technical leadership role
  • 2 years of experience in network engineering including understanding of design, hardware/software installation, and documentation
  • Experience in OT security architectures with proven ability to effectively conceptualize, design, build, and maintain multiple current and future OT tools and platforms
  • Demonstrated thought leadership track record in OT and cybersecurity with public facing media and events
  • Deep understanding of firewalls and wireless communication technology
  • Experience working with virtualization platforms, Active Directory, DNS, and Domain Controller
  • Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE-4, JNCIA or equivalent network certification
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP certification
  • TS-SCI Security Clearance
  • Strong client and industry network to assist Jacobs OT & cybersecurity business to win new business

Hired applicants will be able to purchase company stock and have the opportunity to receive a performance discretionary bonus.

The base salary range for this position is $200K - $275K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
