We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. Monetization Trust & Safety team at TikTok is dedicated to balancing improving monetization clients' experience and building a safe environment for TikTok users. As a product manager on our team, you will work with various relevant TNS internal teams such as engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies, and will also collaborate with various monetization business teams, to build safety product features and strategies.

You will be working on safety features, technical strategies to improve our trust and safety processes, methods to detect and address risky behaviors and actors in the community, as well as capturing and reducing overkills to enhance advertiser experience. You will also work on project management to deliver major Trust and Safety product changes. Travel between our global offices is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex projects independently, define the safety product roadmap, set success metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, and partner across the organization to develop action plans
  • Focus on building effective and scalable features or tools for monetization safety success;
  • Work closely with issue experts, and policy teams, as well as cross-functional partners, to establish a workflow to critically analyze, prioritize, and drive cross-functional efforts to achieve success;
  • Develop a robust workflow for cross-team collaboration, manage large-scale product improvement projects to improve community safety.

Qualifications



Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management in tech companies
  • Ability to design product solutions based on evidence; proven track record of delivering value-adding products based on deep understanding of the business, or organizational/process revamps that benefit the business
  • Good project management and communication skills, able to influence and unite cross-functional teams
  • Identify, analyze and improve existing business/product processes to optimize performance, meet best practice standards or improve quality and user experience.
  • Strong and proven data analysis skills for product design and knowledge of methods for researching and analyzing product designs to determine their potential for meeting organizational standards and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of working with international partners across different time zones and cultures
  • Experience in Trust & Safety; Basic knowledge of safety by design principles
  • Experience in monetization related businesses; Basic understanding of monetization business user scenario
  • Prior experience managing products with safety-related success metrics highly desirable

Job Information



The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $296020 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
