Job Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising or equivalent preferred. Advertising agency experience is a plus.
  • At least five years of applied design experience.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
  • Experience creating PowerPoint graphics and presentations is preferred. Motion/video-editing skills are a bonus but not required.
  • Knowledge of layout, graphic design fundamentals, typography, and color theory.
  • (HYBRID/REMOTE SCHEDULE) This role requires two (2) days per week in person at KBR's corporate office in Houston, Texas.
  • Online portfolio required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create strategic and original visual content for KBR business units and corporate functions that adheres to brand standards and reinforces KBR's position as a market leader
  • Translate conceptual ideas into effective design
  • Strong eye for detail and visual composition
  • Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials and special fonts, which are needed for documentation and reference purposes
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
