$ $29.64PURPOSE
This position is responsible for performing safe, accurate and timely inbound purchase order and transfer receiving procedures in the facility's warehouse. This includes all coordination and communication from purchase order or transfer availability to systematic receipt and up to final destination while balancing internal operations schedules.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate the receipt of all inbound purchase orders and transfers into the distribution center, including all documentation, system updates, and internal and external communication
  • Review daily receiving priorities and adjust appropriately according to replenishment needs
  • Daily interaction with vendors, carriers, and other supervisors, buyers and buyers' assistants, Logistics Coordinators and managers
  • Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with all company inventory, shipping and receiving, and customer service-related standard operating procedures
  • Monitor open doors in the warehouse to ensure no unauthorized entry. Any unauthorized or unknown person should be stopped and questioned before entry
  • Conduct frequent and thorough safety inspections of packaging, product, and equipment
  • Maintain general cleanliness, organization, and appearance inside and outside of the warehouse.
  • Provide additional assistance with projects and other items to be assigned periodically
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • One year of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
  • Proven problem-solving and team building skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)
  • This position is hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Physical Work – Ability exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Store Support Center Associates
Provide leadership and support training on all Safety programs, processes and procedures, insuring that every associate is properly trained for their position.
Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position. This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations. All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.
