• Provide live captioning services via Zoom for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in online and classroom settings.
• Generate, review, and amend transcripts from Zoom lectures for distribution to students with hearing impairments.
• Support with editing pre-recorded YouTube tutorials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with disability laws and maintain accurate records of student interactions.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in captioning and CART technology.
• Collaborate with the transcription team to guarantee coverage for all classes catering to deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transcription or captioning.

• CART certification (or other captioning software certification) is mandatory.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Work is situated in an office setting. The role involves maintaining active communication with customers and colleagues, utilizing computer systems, and lifting objects weighing up to thirty (30) pounds. Other activities may include bending, reaching, kneeling, and stooping.
