Principal Enterprise Architect – CEX & GTM Apps

Job Summary

We are seeking a very strong Principal Enterprise Architect – GTM Apps "Go To Market" to join our Enterprise Architecture team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Go-To-Market Applications covering Marketing, Sales, fulfillment, and Customer Care, SaaS and cloud computing models and applications technologies. Will work closely with a Federated Architecture team to establish standards and document current and future state architecture, will also collaborate with IT and business teams to develop future state and business capability roadmaps. Will work closely with the Solution Architects to ensure designs are developed and implemented based on established Architecture principles and guidelines. Will have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share their knowledge with business stakeholders, Development teams and IT leadership within Equinix.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the role of the Enterprise Architect responsible for GTM Apps spanning Marketing, Sales, fulfillment, and Customer Care. In a Federated Architecture Governance model
  • Partner closely with Domain Architects for GTM and its sub-domains to establish standards and document current and future state architecture
  • Partner closely with IT Apps leadership, domain architects, and Business function leadership to capture long-term business vision for various GTM functions and develop short- and long-term business capability roadmaps
  • Partner with Domain Architect to identify and champion Architecture driven initiatives to meet Corporate goals on Agility, Productivity and Speed. Propose them as part of Portfolio planning
  • Be an active member of ARB representing GTM Apps and drive Architecture governance based on Standards and roadmap. Actively work with Domain Architects to resolve deviations from Standards
  • Partner with solution architects on major project initiative to deliver architecture, solution, and technical designs. Sheppard those projects through the Architecture review process "ARB" and follow up on any resulting action items
  • Work closely with Domain Architects and the Emerging Technology team on evaluating and piloting new and emerging technologies for the benefit of EQIX's business and IT teams
  • Keep a close eye on Industry trends in the GTM domain and actively work to quantify and qualify its impact on current Architecture and roadmap
  • Participate in Industry forums. And present if appropriate
  • Actively participate in the Forums of key vendors in GTM to understand their roadmaps and incorporate that in the roadmap

Qualifications

  • 10+ years design & implementation experience of end to end GTM Apps and Solutions
  • Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect in a federated Architecture function. With specific focus on GTM Apps
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, Siebel, and ServiceNow is a plus
  • Proven track record working with an Agile development SDLC methodology and applying Architecture Governance
  • Valuable to have experience with Enterprise Architecture tools like Troux, LeanIX, or others
  • Proven experience presenting to Leadership on IT and Business functions
