Protect AI is seeking a product designer to support design initiatives for the AI security web platform and other products that are part of the company's portfolio. The selected candidate will work closely with the design, product and engineering teams. You'll have a crucial voice in deciding the user experience of the MVP as well as all future releases from concept to execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Help support product and engineering teams to design new features for the platform as per user needs, best UX practices and applying good design principles.
  • Influence and contribute to the existing design system to ensure smooth component building process, consistency, application and documentation.
  • Play a critical role in deciding the branding of the various platforms and help support GTM initiatives to promote the platform when needed.
  • Conduct or support user research and testing, to make sure we are collecting accurate data and building analysis that helps the platform in a meaningful way.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the company and make sure the scoping is accounting for all the different needs and requirements.
What we are looking for:
  • 2-4 years of UX/UI design experience (or equivalent)
  • Understands design cycle from concept, research, scoping, wireframing, designing, prototyping and testing.
  • Experience with complex web applications and enterprise software. Experience with designing a Saas product.
  • Influence the build of personas, user journeys, storyboards and user flows.
  • Quick design iterations as per user feedback and research.
  • Good at documentation and being able to present work to product and engineering effectively.
  • Knowledge of accessibility, responsive design and development processes.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of consistency, typography, color, design layouts, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability for assigned projects.
  • Knowledge of working in an agile environment is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • B.A. in UX Design, Graphic Design or relating field preferred.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design, research process, usability principles and web based UX/UI examples.
  • Pixel perfect mock-ups or prototypes.
  • Updated on latest design and ux trends.
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC and other prototyping tools.
Nice to have:
  • Comfortable with front-end development and React. Designers are not expected to code but we do expect them to understand what can and cannot be built in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Experience with B2B enterprise software.
  • Accessible design in dark mode.
