Chief Financial Officer

The CFO will play a critical role in the financial management of One Cross Community, an FQHC Look-Alike.The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance with federal and state regulations.Oversee all bookkeeping functions including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Charitable Status, Withholding Payments (CPP, EI), Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Employer Health Tax.Provide financial management and guidance on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and forecasting needs.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.
