General Summary:

  • The diagnostic Sonographer is responsible for producing diagnostic information using the sonography equipment and related diagnostic techniques. The Sonographer acquires and evaluates data, while exercising discretion and judgment in performance of the clinical examination.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have attended an approved school for Diagnostic Sonography or have equivalent experience which is accepted for registration with the R.D.M.S. Must be registry eligible and pass boards within one year of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required.
