Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

Lab Technician - Kellogg Biological Station (Hickory Corners, MI)

The candidate will be responsible for soil sampling, processing soil samples, assisting with soil health assays in the laboratory and prepping samples for soil biological health assays.

Desired Qualifications

Applicants should have an interest in soil ecology and be willing to provide research support in a team oriented environment. The successful candidate must have excellent organization skills and be able to effectively communicate with team members on a daily basis. Prior experience conducting field-based sampling and/or laboratory work is required.
