About Our Client
Our client is a large, foreign, International Bank. With its full-fledged services, our client specializes in corporate lending, international trade services, treasury business, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking and various other lines of business.
Job Description
Identify and report any suspicious activity with high risk clientsReview, investigate and document any information for the escalated casesPrepare SAR's with all details and follow the bank's SAR template procedurePerform reconciliation of cases and making sure to have a 90 day follow up planPerform transaction monitoring on accounts and alerts Communicate any special investigative information and respond to any management queriesHelp with the training of new associatesMaintain strong understandings of laws, regulations and regulatory guidance that are relevant to this roleMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree within finance or the industry3+ years of experience with transaction monitoring, alert reviews, and case-investigationsExperience within correspondent bankingUSD Clearing experienceExperience filing SAR's to FinCEN (3-5 per day, depending on the length of the report)Able to work in the office 5 days per weekExperience working with high risk regionsStrong communication and writing skills What's on Offer This position offers the candidate to gain 6+ months of correspondent banking experience. The client is offering a competitive market hourly rate as well.
