As a Machine Operator you'll be responsible for removing gating and excess material from aluminum castings or molding high quality parts in our permanent molding area.

What you'll do
  • Remove gating and excess material from sand casting using belt sander or hand tools
  • Remove cores from castings
  • Brush or spray mold surfaces with parting agents or coatings to ensure mold smoothness and prevent sticking
  • Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, adjusting as necessary
  • Perform operations in a safe and efficient manner and maintains cleanliness of work area
Your qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must have the ability to use hand tools and larger mechanical machines in the casting process
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and other foundry personnel
  • Position requires incumbent to stand during assigned shift

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
