The Sr. Manager, Digital Finance is part of the BK US & Canada Finance team but works closely with the BK US & Canada Digital team, providing a unique opportunity to work closely with both functions. The position will primarily lead financial analysis, profitability, and reporting for the Director of BK Franchisee Profitability. The role supports the brand leadership team in strategic decision-making and supports the implementation of major digital initiatives across the BK brand and will work closely with the Director of BK Franchisee Profitability, Chief Digital Officer and VP of Finance in setting out targets and determining the right investments for the digital business to deliver the best ROI. The role involves building financial models to project and assess the performance of Digital channels (e.g., loyalty program, mobile engagement and orders, delivery), driving decision-making around the direction and opportunities for the Digital moving forward through a financial lens. Given the broad-reaching scope of Digital initiatives, the role will regularly involve collaboration with colleagues from across BK and RBI to gather and present information from across our brands and geographies. The position is 4 days in office and will be located in our Miami, FL headquarters.

Primary Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis, Decision-Making, and Reporting

  • Identify strategic opportunities for the digital team that are financially sound
  • Lead monthly close reporting process for the Digital Team
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses on BK Digital projects/initiatives to determine ROI and identify risks/opportunities
  • Advise on vendor selection process and contract negotiations
  • Own KPIs for Digital team; regularly assess and review relevant KPIs for the brand/projects during various phases of growth and development
  • Present to various stakeholder groups (i.e. internal leadership, restaurant owners) on the performance of the various digital channels
  • Oversee the restaurant profitability of our digital channels and initiatives

Desired Profile:

  • Passion for the BK brand and a strong desire to help our Digital initiatives succeed
  • 5+ years of professional experience in roles that require financial modelling and analysis
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
  • CPA Designation, Consulting, or Financial accounting experience are an asset
  • Strong analytical, organizational and computer skills (e.g. MS Office, Excel, SAP an asset)
  • Ability to connect data from disparate sources in complex yet flexible analyses to support rapid scenario modelling
  • Ability to use SQL and/or Snowflake is an asset
  • Ability to draw relevant insights from complex financial analyses and communicate at the right level of detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated, self-starter displaying high initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to operate independently
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling a large volume of work
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
