Popeyes is in the midst of an exciting digital transformation context. As part of this journey, we also need to connect with our audience in a meaningful way, generating brand engagement, and owning culture.

The Advertising Sr. Manager will be an integral part of the Brand Communications team working closely with all Marketing teams: Category, Analytics, Digital and Legal, besides creative agencies, and PR. This individual is responsible for managing and enforcing the brand across multiple media channels, overseeing the creative deliverables on a daily internal and external process. As part of this role, creative skills and measurement mindset will work together. We want someone with a can-do attitude that will recommend a well-done craft and a cohesive language, preserving the brand tone of voice consistently while respecting the touch point nature, making sure we have the best-in-class experience related for each communications channel. This person will oversee brand campaigns, briefing agencies against business objectives, producing advertising content, managing all paid consumer facing workstream, reviewing analytics, and communicating with key stakeholders in the company.

Popeyes is a powerful and relevant part of many communities in America, and this position will play an important role in helping younger consumers connect with our brand. The right candidate for this role will have experience marketing to a wide variety of backgrounds and cultural groups and will ensure our brand's message is tailored uniquely for each community we serve.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Popeyes' communications strategies and advertising executions, leading 360 Communication's plans.
  • Plan, implement, and manage a comprehensive advertising and marketing program for Popeyes.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with creative agencies, media outlets, and industry partners to generate brand awareness, and new traffic to stores, building relevant and engaging consumer facing communications' plans.
  • Proactively identify and leverage opportunities for brand partnerships, collaborations, media opportunities and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Manage, protect, and champion the brand voice in multiple media channels, including but not limited to Linear TV, CTV, Radio, OOH, Digital, Social Media, Influencers programs, etc.
  • Driving cohesive, well-rounded campaigns, promoting products launches.
  • Identifies opportunities to grow the audience and improve brand awareness.
  • Analyze engagement data, identifying trends in consumers interactions.
  • Collaborate with agency and internal teams to ensure a high-quality deliverable.
  • Serve as subject matter expert, advisor, and brand liaison for branded items.
  • Monitor Competitive Landscape, keep up with the latest trends and pop culture, look into industry benchmarks on communication and consistently share findings with the Marketing team, providing recommendations as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years in-house or agency brand experience (or relevant work experience)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of branding and marketing principles
  • Be passionate about American pop culture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven robust project management skills and cross-functional leadership
  • Strong conceptual abilities and abilities to originate solutions on-time and on budget
  • Craft oriented with a business background
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments
