Duties
  • On a computer based system, establishes and maintains individual time, leave, and earnings records of salaried and hourly non-appropriated fund employees, civilian and military plus seasonal hires.
  • Accomplishes withholdings for federal, state and local taxes and collections for social security, retirement, life insurance, health benefits and union dues, as applicable.
  • Examines and verifies all pay action documents for accuracy, authority, completeness and conformance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Balances output reports to appropriate source documents on a pay period, quarterly, and annual basis. Balances all deductions and earnings for each installation.
  • Input payroll data from a variety of source documents into a computerized payroll system which requires a knowledge of a variety of coding structures to process the various pay interrelationships involved.
