ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following and other duties may be assigned:

Responsible for planning, developing, promoting, and managing all aspects of Poker Tournaments in the Poker Room.
Assist the Poker Manager with various administrative duties.
Responsible for staff development and training of new Poker Dealers and Supervisors.
Evaluates team members within the department and delivers constructive feedback to team members regarding performance.
Provides recommendations for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning, and directing work) to meet business needs.
Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
Provides recommendations for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling).
Perform all duties in accordance with Bally's West Poker Room policies and procedures, TDA Rules and Colorado Gaming regulations and statutes.
Provide excellent guest serviceat all times.
Promotes Bally's Rewardsprogram and demonstrates solid working knowledge of other games, promotions and services offered at property.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must possess excellent knowledge of TDA Rules and Colorado Rule 10.
Must have a working knowledge of the Bravo Poker software applications.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Displays leadership qualities and the ability to serve both internal and external customers.
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner.
Strong cash handling and counting skills.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Must be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized and attentive to details.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be able to handle paperwork, operate a computer, telephone, and other Poker equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to speak and understand English. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Colorado Support Gaming License. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Normal vision range and ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers, and symbols is required.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Must be able to carry dealer tray and toke box from dealer cabinet to any table, as well as carry drop boxes from table to drop cart).
Must possess ability to maintain mobility and withstand prolonged standing, sitting, stretching, and bending (without restriction).
Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around the Poker Room and the rest of the casinos.
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Occasionally will walk, sit, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl and smell.
