PagerDuty is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Program Manager for strategic Initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Strategy and Operations, Consulting and/or program management with 10+ years of experience in high tech. A successful program manager is a leader and facilitator; is driven, organized, and detail oriented; excels in program/project management; communicates with ease at all levels; and is self-motivated to succeed in ambiguous environments. The candidate should be adept at breaking down complex problems, and frame these problems so that they can be operationally executed with measurable results. Being data-driven along with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills will be important drivers of success.

Responsibilities

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our strategic initiatives and ensuring the efficient execution of our operations
  • Structure and break down complex business problems, develop hypotheses, drive analysis, and frame options in a data-driven manner
  • Proactively identify challenges and opportunities to create value, and scope into actionable insights and plans
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with PagerDuty's overall goals and vision
  • Lead cross-functionally to ensure the successful execution of projects and programs
  • Identify and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and impact of initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather feedback and incorporate it into program development and improvement
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Communicate progress, updates, and challenges to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during program execution
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the Strategy & Operations team and across the organization
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of consulting, Strategy and operations, business operations or program management experience
  • Proven success in project management, operations, or consulting roles.
  • Comfortable independently navigating and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills for clear and concise conveyance of complex ideas and data.
  • Strong analytical skills for rapid data gathering, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across organizational levels.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters in Business, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong Looker, Tableau or similar tools for data analysis
  • SQL Proficiency
  • Strong Written and Presentation Skills oriented towards Executive Communications
  • Work experience in a fast-growth environment

The base salary range for this position is 142, ,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
