This role is a key and high visibility position within the Finance team in supporting the business growth and target achievement. As a Finance Analyst, you will assist in the budgeting and forecasting of the company financial performance by performing key updates to the financial targets, and providing proactive and meaningful financial analysis to Uniqlo US senior management and global senior management.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor trends and re-project business profit results on a timely basis
  • Assist in building and preparing financial budgets at both consolidated and store levels
  • Prepare financial models and managing the analysis, reporting, and monitoring of operating results
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Support the weekly P&L forecast update to senior management
  • Support monthly close activities (e.g. expense accruals)
  • Assist to identify opportunities to lower costs and engage with business owners to achieve results
  • Assist in the preparation of board presentation materials
  • Develop information tools/management reporting key operating activities.
  • Key areas of focus for this role will be marketing, personnel and other operational expenses
  • Prepare/manage the timely issuance of a monthly financial report packages to be submitted to global headquarters based in Japan
  • Run reports and queries data using company's financial software to collect information for financial planning to be shared to relevant business partners and senior management
  • Analyze special projects such as new store openings and closures to determine business financial benefits and impacts
Job Requirements:
  • Demonstrated FP&A experience at the corporate or business unit level
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-cultural, fast paced environment
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a business or financial analytical role
  • Desire to build strong and effective business relationships with multiple departments
  • Flexible, team oriented, collaborative work style and a positive attitude
  • Proactive individual that has the mindset to think outside the box
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint; SAP experience or finance business application tool experience strongly preferred
