Job Responsibilities:

As a Sales Operations Assistant Manager - Accessories Merchandising, you will be responsible to help define GM's eCommerce strategy and tactics that creates a world-class shopping experience that bridges the gap between physical and digital retail. You will also apply your analytical skills to generate insights and drive revenue growth today through the harnessing of multiple data sources and analytical tools. This role will inspire the organization to think differently while putting the customer at the center of our decision making. You will be tasked with assessing a wide range of opportunities and issues as it relates to the current production eCommerce platform, merchandising tactics, and content alike. This role is a key voice in determining the near-term and future strategy of Accessories eCommerce.

This role will require a strong eye for business in interpreting results, the ability to challenge the status-quo, effectively prioritize in an unstructured environment, and identify revenue and customer experience driving opportunities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team environment, is data driven and results-oriented, and is inspired to drive strategic decision making and innovation to create a truly frictionless online shopping experience and help drive our Accessories eCommerce business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert on accessories eCommerce customer needs – understanding current and evolving trends, automotive accessories, technology advancements to inform strategies, and competitive activities
  • Drive revenue and other KPIs for key product categories by optimizing strategies and tactics within the spirit of continuous improvement
  • Implement merchandising strategies and tactics including, but not limited to: Brand strategy, content strategy and development, Search Engine Optimization, customer way-finding (navigation and product categorization), personalization experience, promotions, and incentives.
  • Collaborate directly with Line of Business Partners, Market Research, Marketing, Brand, Product, Tech Teams, Vendors and Agencies to achieve strategic objectives, test/implement programs, and maximize sales
  • Work with business and technical teams (i.e., Product, Tech, UX, Marketing, etc.) to help design and deploy Accessories eCommerce enhancements
  • Collect feedback on the health and performance of the online eCommerce experience to identify/resolve current issues and future Accessories eCommerce enhancements
  • Anticipate roadblocks and proactively address issues before they impact business results
  • Leverage eCommerce analytics to identify opportunities to improve conversion, product page views, cross-sell, up-sell, and add to cart rates, driving incremental engagement, sales, productivity, and profitability Required Qualifications BA / BS in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields 5+ years related experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Strategy, Automotive, or related field Stellar analytical ability with capability to transform data into actionable insights and plans Exceptional ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, decision-making skills, and comfort with ambiguity Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with data and analytical tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MS Excel, miniTab) Experience working with eCommerce platforms (e.g. HCL, Adode Experience Platform, Shopify, Salesforce, Product Information Management systems) Experience with demand generation activities and/or platforms (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Merchant Center, SEMRUSH, Google Shopping Ads) Demonstrated knowledge in Customer Experience, including but not limited to Design Thinking, Agile Development, and Customer Journey Mapping Automotive industry and/or retail experience About TEKsystems:
