Be our next Mechanical Designer, EIT (Mining)

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Mining Team, based in Fort Lauderdale or Miami FL.

What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Knowledgeable in the design of Mining systems
  • Design and layout of mechanical/process equipment, conveyor systems, hoists, process equipment using 3D and 2D tools.
  • Design and layout of piping systems for surface and underground infrastructure
  • Strong people skills, and ability to work with a wide variety of staff
  • Mining, construction field experience is preferred
  • Any experience in the engineering, consulting or mining industry is preferred
    What your experience looks like
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
    • 2+ years of experience required with EIT registration preferred
    • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
    • Strong organizational and time management skills;
    • Attention to detail and accuracy;
    • Good interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements;
    • Valid Driver's License
