Job Description:

Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

Hourly Rate: $18.00 / hour

Shift differential: +$1.50 for all hours worked between 6pm-6am

Arrow Electronics is seeking a collaborative and engaged Warehouse Associate to join our newly constructed Warehouse Logistics center. This role will focus on the functions of receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping. As a Warehouse Associate II, you will be required to excel in the areas of safety, quality, attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

What You'll Be Doing:
Support daily various distribution center functions including: receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shippingTransport, store, and stage productEnsure quality and productivity goals are metPull, prep, and complete shipping orders via RF scanners, paperwork, and box packagingPerform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and provide accurate inventory countsBuild shipping boxes based off variant product heights, weights, and contentsCreate shipping labels via multiple carriers by accurately entering contents height, weight, and material; potential for creating international waybillsUtilize multiple computer systems to consolidate orders, complete commercial invoices, and create shipping labelsReceive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a teamOptional training for forklift and OSHA10 as availableEnsure warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and all safety procedures are being followedInspect and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, floor lifts, and basic toolsReport any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to relevant channels

What You'll Need:

1-3 years of relevant work experiencePrevious warehouse experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to perform end-user computer functions (e.g., data input, interpret information and instructions from computer screens) on Warehouse computer systems (e.g., terminals, tablets and scanners)Must have strong attention to detailReading, writing, and understanding of English languageForklift, stack picker, and/or manual pallet jack experience, a plusThis position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time.Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is requiredCollaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goalsMust be comfortable working under high productivity and quality standardsExemplify team collaborationMaintain a safe work environment by following established safety proceduresMaintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards within facility and daily workspaceMust be reliable and report consistently to scheduled shift, including overtime hours
