Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director to lead a team responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience to our Strategic Accounts through proactive, white-gloved communication with regards to operations and projects within the Drug Product space.

The incumbent will be a valued partner to the Strategic Accounts Relationships team within the Pharma Service Group Commercial Organization, as well as to the broader Project & Program Management organization, Quality and Extended Leadership team at a site and network level.

This new role reports into the Vice President, Customer Operations

The role provides end-to-end oversight to clients across the global network Divisional Leadership Team and other executive. Driving consistent customer experience across the network. Provide singular voice to the client at network level for routine, joint and/or executive steering committees.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Customer Management:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with strategic pharmaceutical customers, acting as their primary point of contact for program-related matters on a global scale across sterile, oral solid and softgel drug products
  • Proactively anticipates, understands, and responds to the needs of clients to meet or exceed their expectations.
Leadership and Talent Development:
  • Staff, retain and develop a team of 6 Senior Program Managers providing mentorship, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of programs for dedicated accounts across multiple geographies;
  • Set performance expectations for the team, conducts regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
Strategic Program & Project Management:
  • Coordinates the end-to-end delivery of complex programs and projects across our global network, ensuring planning and delivery at all stages as well as adherence to regulatory requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards;
  • Identifies and mitigate risks associated with pharmaceutical program delivery, ensuring proactive risk management strategies are in place
  • Ensures network level operational readiness for customer assets.
Governance Management & Communication:
  • Enable outstanding communication around projects and operations with internal partners and strategic customers
  • Ensures sites are updated on customers network level impact and challenges
  • Effectively reports on program status, risks, and opportunities to key collaborators.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific or technical area; advanced degree
  • 10+ years of proven experience in client-facing program management in an international environment Capability to navigate a complex and highly matrixed organization
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with demonstrated experience in managing and developing impactful teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Capability to project confidence through clear & synthetic messages customized to the audience
  • Problem solving, action and solution orientation
  • Exceptional customer orientation
  • Willingness to travel internationally (0-30%).
