EHS Manager - Contract - Hybrid

Proclinical Staffing is seeking a EHS Manager to join a cutting-edge biotech company. This is a contract role with the opportunity to work hybrid in Cranbury, NJ.

Skills & Requirements:

Master's degree in science/engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent10+ years of experience implementing biosafety and EHS programsAdditional professional EHS credentials such as CSP and/or CIH highly preferredStrong understanding of biosafety, biologics manufacturing, and EHS management systemsFamiliarity with federal, state, and local biosafety and EHS requirementsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team with a customer-service mindsetProficiency in MS Office and presentation skillsThe EHS Manager will:Oversee the EHS function and provide direction to the team on EHS and biological safety practicesFoster open communication for EHS-related questions and concerns among employeesManage the Learning Management System (LMS) for global EHS training complianceImplement and manage the new EHS management system for various EHS concernsManage the EHS SharePoint site for incident reporting, chemical waste pickups, safety blog, and moreHandle digital and physical paperwork and records across various platforms for EHS functionsNavigate the Quality Management System and manage EHS-related GMP SOPsCoordinate EHS vendors and contractors for various programs and servicesManage the EHS budget and track costsEnsure compliance with environmental and biological permitting requirementsOversee the Occupational Health program, including vaccinations and PEPManage incident investigation processes and communicate trends to stakeholdersFacilitate Safety Committee initiativesImplement Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) and Ergonomics initiativesLead engagement initiatives and maintain high visibility for the EHS programDocument, align, and train staff on EHS plans, policies, and guidelinesServe as a liaison for EHS-related regulatory auditsProvide EHS input on new projects and modification programsSupport ongoing construction projects and industrial hygiene strategyEnsure emergency management policies and procedures are in place for business continuity If you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Anderson Maldonado at (+1) or
