St. Ann Health and Rehabilitation is a 50 bed facility, that has a rich history and is deeply integrated into the Milwaukee community. St. Ann is proud to be able to say that we have employees with over 23 years of dedication providing exemplary service. Our halls and rooms are clean and quiet, and our New Management team has worked tirelessly to improve all areas of St. Ann Come and tour our halls, rooms, and dining areas, and learn about this amazing and historic building

As an Activities Aide, you will work alongside the Activities Director to provide the best quality of life through enriching experiences meaningful activities.

This position is Part-Time with rotation weekends.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group activities
  • Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance
  • Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
  • Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities
  • Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or GED
  • Creativity
  • Experience with Alzheimers/Dementia and special needs is a plus.
  • Ability to self motivate
  • Flexible with schedule, occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays are required.
  • Professionalism
  • Great customer service skills
  • Passion to work with the aging population
  • Great communications skills
  • Able to work rotating weekends

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
  • Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
  • Prepares for and assists Physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
  • Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families.
  • Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
  • Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
  • Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s).
  • Records on patient charts observation of patient's responses to nursing care rendered.
  • Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients.
  • Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned.

Experience:

  • RN: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

  • RN (Required)
