Private Resort Restaurant Server (KohServer)

Seeking a full-time server for the restaurant team of a private resort in Kailua-Kona.

In this role you will be providing exceptional, professionally served meals and drinks for guests.

This position comes with great hourly rate plus 18% pooled tips

Hours
Full-time, varied hours. Must work weekends, nights and holidays.

Location
Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay
$22 an hour, plus 18% pooled tips

Responsibilities
  • Inspect assigned tables to ensure they are properly set and free of any soiled items.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests at all times.
  • Listen effectively to respond to questions or requests in a friendly manner.
  • Maintain very detailed knowledge of all items on the menus.
  • Comply with all restaurant policies and procedures and follow guidelines as stated in the training manuals.
  • Make a positive contribution to the work environment through presentation of positive attitude, demonstration of cooperation and teamwork, and constructive approach to daily events.


Qualifications
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to lift to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
