Job Summary
Beeswax is a programmatic advertising trading platform, which has at its core has a bidder which makes millions of ad trading decisions per second. The Product Director (Beeswax) role will oversee 2 Beeswax teams: (a) DPE (Data Processing & Engineering) and (b) Optimization (Machine-Learning & Artificial Intelligence). The Product team is responsible for the technical design, product architecture and innovation of the system components.
Job Description
The Optimization team develops the bidding algorisms enabling Beeswax clients to achieve goal-defined outcomes like Cost-per-Acquisition (CPA, Return-on-Ad-Spend (ROAS) or Lifetime-Value (LTV). The bidding algos are developed by continuously applying the latest Machine-Learning and AI technology enabling Beeswax to compete successfully in the market. The team also develops ad supply forecasting models across the ad industry enabling the Beeswax system to pace ad campaign delivery.
The team develops Beeswax Pacing systems, which manages max ad exposure per household per campaign and defined ad budget spending patterns utilizing advanced machine learning models.
The DPE team oversees Beeswax data pipelines and data lake, enabling clients and Beeswax systems to receive ad impression data in real-time via Snowflake or Kinesis Stream. It also consumes structured and unstructured data from a large number of other ad eco-system data solutions and normalized, cleans, re-hydrates and aggregates billions of data points per day providing analytics and insights for the Beeswax system and its clients.
Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product management activities for the Beeswax product group. Leads team of specialists and managers to achieve product and team objectives and keeps leadership team informed of key developments and issues. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas. Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s).
  • Directs, establishes, maintains and plans the overall policies and goals for a product management department.
  • Sets new product strategy for program or product group.
  • Applies expertise in state-of-the-art product technologies and is relied on by top management to serve as a proxy for the market.
  • Defines, develops and implements standard operational frameworks for products.
  • Coordinates with sales and marketing to assess client and industry needs and identifies possible solutions to meet those needs.
  • Accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management of assigned products.
  • Develops business cases and supporting documentation.
  • Oversees development of assigned new products and services and ensures customer's needs are met. Provides product support and documentation and develops of product materials.
  • Manages lifecycle of new products and services.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and to strategy.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
