Job Purpose

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for full life-cycle TA and TA-related mentoring for the U.S. corporate headquarters. This position focuses heavily on recruiting for filling technical positions such as Software Engineers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Each day will present you with new challenges and opportunities to test and grow your skills. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Modular, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conduct pre-employment assessments in compliance with established policies and standards.
  • Provide coaching to management in the areas of recruitment and hiring to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with marketing to create and enhance employer branding strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with the University of Arizona, local and regional community organizations, professional associations, and industry contacts to identify potential candidates.
  • Work with management to review, analyze and clarify job roles, requirements, responsibilities, and competencies/skills required and to gain an understanding of business operations to maximize recruitment efforts.
  • Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools (LinkedIn, various job boards, networking events, job fairs).
  • Match candidates' strengths with clients' requirements by evaluating, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Negotiate wages, terms, and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain a commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
  • Create talent-related documents, policies, marketing material, and position descriptions.
  • Create and manage candidate documentation including onboarding and offer letters.
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System and train system functionality as needed.
  • Assist the HR team with tasks related to the Human Resources Information System implementation and administration.
Required Skills
  • 3-5 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years customer service or administrative experience
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Inquisitive nature; interest in learning new technology and solving problems
  • Bachelor's degree in related field

This is a fully remote eligible position with occasional travel to Tucson as needed. Candidates who have experience in working remotely with the ability to maintain efficiency and communication in this work setting are highly preferred.
