Position Type: Contract
Job Summary:
This position will focus on contracting and sourcing. Mainly contracting as in working on drafting statements of work with the Business, reviewing redlines from the supplier on master agreements and working with legal, privacy, information security to resolve the redlines and bring contracts to a completion. This individual would benefit from having knowledge about some legal term although this person will not be providing legal advice for client.
This position will also interface with various business units to better understand their challenges and identify sourcing and contracting strategies to best help with their areas of need.
Job Requirements:
- Contracting
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, any other related areas
- 8 plus years of experience in Procurement and in contracting
- Stakeholder management
- Project management
- Being able to work on various projects at once
- Being able to read and understand various types of contract templates and advise to Business Owners and vendors as well as have conversations with legal etc.
- Sourcing (RFP, RFI, Market Assessment)
- Category Management
- JD / in house attorney background
