SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative duties such as answering telephones; typing documents and correspondence; compiling data and generating reports; maintaining files; billing and checking of loading documents for accuracy and any other duties or special projects as assigned.
Must be able to work variable hours 2nd or 3rd shift usually .
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 plus years experience.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including generating simple letters spreadsheets and or graphics for personal business use or creating simple queries and simply formatted data output using a fourth generation language.
Travel: As Required
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operational Administrator supports daily operational functions, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Responsibilities include managing schedules, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with teams, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role requires proficiency in SAP and Excel, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. Key tasks involve assisting in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, monitoring daily activities, generating reports, and analyzing data to identify trends and improvements. The position also requires strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Typically, this role operates in an office environment but may require occasional visits to the plant, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday. Occasionally weekends.
