Manager, Investigator Grant Payment - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Manager, Investigator Grant Payment.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing investigator budgets, identifying research costs and overseeing the overall investigator site payment process. This role also involves working closely with finance and accounting teams and serving as a subject matter expert for internal clients regarding Fair Market Value costs and investigator reimbursement.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific or a business discipline.Understanding of the drug development process.Previous clinical experience is beneficial.Experience in investigator budget and contract management with a sponsor company or CRO managing various phase clinical trials.Ability to work with minimal direction and be a motivated self-starter.Creative problem solver with good communication and written skills.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.Proficient with the MS Office Suite.Resourcefulness and flexibility.Effective planning and time management skills.Perseverance and initiative.Ability to understand a situation or problem by breaking it down into smaller pieces.Relationship building skills. The Manager, Investigator Grant Payment's responsibilities will be:Review investigator budgets against the schedule of events within the protocol.Identify research related costs versus Standard of Care costs and support teams in site contract negotiations.Use Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarking tools to develop template study site budgets.Oversee the overall investigator site payment process with the CROs.Establish acceptable negotiation ranges for our CROs to use when working with investigators.Serve as an escalation point for the CRO for Investigator Grant Negotiations with sites.Act as SME for internal clients regarding FMV costs and investigator reimbursement.Work closely with finance and accounting to centralize the site payment accruals, forecasting projections and modeling across CRO Partners.Lead in the identification of automated site payment system by identifying potential vendors, and collaborate with others to create, issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) and review proposals.Supervise the status of budget negotiation to expected timeline and review CRO metrics of performance.Identify and seek efficiency with our CROs, and contracted site payment system and FSP vendor to ensure improved value for service.Participate and could present in Clinical Trial, CRO kick off, Investigator budget financial review and CRO governance meetings.
