Position Description:

The Admissions Director is the key driver in Sacred Heart Academy's recruitment and admissions strategy to enroll prospective young women in grades 9-12 who will embrace their full potential and immerse themselves in the mission and values of Sacred Heart Academy. . The Admissions Director reports to the Head of School.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Sacred Heart Academy's mission, program, culture, and admission process to prospective families and the broader community
  • Manage the entirety of the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment
  • Provide prospective students, parents, and guardians with information regarding admissions requirements and processes as needed
  • Coordinate, lead, and manage school tours, Open Houses, recruitment events, and yield events
  • Manage the process of shadowing/interviewing/visiting for prospective applicants and parents
  • Manage applicant files and admissions data, and ensure that databases are fully functioning admissions tools
  • Solicit the support and supervise the training of student ambassadors
  • Represent Sacred Heart Academy at community events; some nights and weekends may be required
  • Organize admissions events including: open houses, information sessions, accepted students events
  • Supports the financial aid process with the Director of Finance
  • Facilitate placement testing in partnership with the school academic team
  • Review and interpret student information, including test scores, extracurricular activities, and grades
  • Identify merit scholars through evaluation of applicant records, essay and interview
    • Interested candidates should have at least 5 years of significant admissions experience or leadership experience in a combination of admissions or enrollment management setting.
    • Should be passionate about the work and mission, highly organized, and extremely detail-oriented.
    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats to perform all functions related to this position.
    • Experience in computer databases and information systems such as SchoolAdmin, PowerSchool, FACTS, or other industry-related CRM solutions.
    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive preferred.
