Position Summary

The Department of Journalism and Media Production at **Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver)** is looking for part-time affiliate faculty to teach media production courses. Join a vibrant community dedicated to diversity and inclusivity.

Responsibilities
  • Teach 3 - 9 credit hours in writing, video, and interactive media production
  • Provide consultation to students
As an affiliate faculty member, you will deliver course content, grade student work, and support student learning. Adaptability and a focus on diverse student needs are essential.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Technical Communication, or related field, with five years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Media Production, Technical Communication, or related field, plus five years of professional media production experience.

Terms of Employment

Affiliate faculty are hired per credit hour basis, not eligible for benefits. Teaching assignments vary by semester. In-person teaching required.

Salary for Announcement

Compensation based on credit hours assigned at university rate.
