Position Summary

Responsible for driving the product line (Food Films and Case Ready Trays) profit and loss performance and operating cash flow by developing and executing product line strategy, managing the product life cycle, collaborating with the supply chain and I&D to create customer value, and supporting food sector, business development, and sales.

Job Description

Development and Execution of Product Line Strategy

  • In conjunction with Product Line Marketing Lead Monthly Cross-Functional Team Operation Meetings to drive product line results: top-line sales, margin, cash flow, and balance sheet.
  • Lead Portfolio Management Review (PMR) Process for case-ready product lines to contribute to 3-year product line outlook as part of the Integrated Business Planning Process (IBP)
  • Develop and refine product line Product and Service Offer (P&SO) that meets customer and market needs while influencing customer behavior that is beneficial to Sealed Air's operational efficiency and cash flow.
  • Support business unit-driven capital investment process for growth PARS.
  • Make vs buy analysis and recommendations for product lines.
  • Manage I&D development projects for growth.
  • With Product Marketing Manager and IBP Process construct bottoms up 1-year operating plan and 3-year outlook.
  • Coordinate with Case Ready Product Marketing for Product Line Sustainability Roadmap.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Raw Material Product Line Expansion (PLE) for all product lines.
  • Management of PLE expansions of existing offerings.
  • SKU rationalization.

Sales Support

  • Manage escalation of critical customer issues with other functions (quality, pricing, delivery, regulatory/health & safety.
  • Claim settlement.
  • Focus on low-margin business improvement, and retention expansion of high-margin business.
  • Consulted and informed on Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) Customer/Sales requests.

Supply Chain Interaction

  • In conjunction with the supply chain monitor
    • Daily: Product Order Backlog
    • Weekly: Production Output, Order Receipts, Finished Good Inventory, Late Orders, Shipments
    • Monthly: On Time Complete (OTC), Product Cost, Quality (PPM)
Qualifications
  • A 4-year degree in Engineering, Science, Business or Finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to effectively drive results and manage change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced data analysis skills for analyzing multiple complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate to executives; including project recommendations and product line strategies.
  • Ability to prioritize

Additional Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in product development, product lifecycle management, applications, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Project management experience
  • SAP experience
