We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher for a 4th/5th grade classroom. The classroom Teacher will plan, develop and implement instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, Global studies and PE. Must have experience developing inter-disciplinary project based curriculum and knowledge about how to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners. Classroom teacher will also work collaboratively with specialists in STEM, Art, Music, and Spanish on projects and integrated learning experiences.

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at Elementary School level
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree or Teaching Certification preferred
  • Experience planning and developing interdisciplinary, project-based curriculum
  • Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools (rubrics, portfolios etc.)
  • Experience incorporating digital tools and global themes in the classroom
  • Knowledge of positive approaches to classroom management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility & initiative
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues in an innovative and community minded environment
