Job Summary and QualificationsTo serve as the main point of contact and provide guidance for students to facilitate the enrollment consistent with the Colleges mission
Position Responsibilities
- Maintains communication with prospective online student inquiries via phone calls, emails, text, and document follow-up in Recruit and Colleague.
- Follow-up with all prospective students who have received an admissions appointment through the enrollment process on a weekly basis to assist with any student-related issues.
- Guide students through the online campus enrollment process and ensure all documentation (transcripts, financial aid, RN license, etc.) is received, as required.
- Consult with Registrar and Financial Aid staff to assist students, as needed.
- Notify students of acceptance into the program, and orient students to College policies, course registration and the online learning environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment at Galen using solutions-based consultative engagements.
- Maintain an inquiry database and reports in Recruit and Colleague to provide reporting and projections regarding lead flow and development, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Experience: Demonstrated prior experience in enrollment of students in a college or academic setting preferred but not required. Prior experience with Recruit and Colleague preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills.
Special Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and technical skills. Strong phone presence and excellent customer services skills required.
- Entrepreneurial attitude to meet performance goals.
- Ability to work independently, as well as with faculty, staff and administration.
- Proven leadership ability. High attention to detail
- Ability to work some evening and weekends
- Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment:
- Position requires mental activity, reading, planning, preparing, evaluating and decision making. Physical demands in classroom and office are minimal and considered sedentary work with occasional lifting and/or carrying such articles as records, files, and books (10 pounds maximum). Operation of standard office equipment such as phone, computer and printer/scanner, occurs on a frequent basis.
