The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy is seeking a Continuing Education Coordinator who will provide administrative support and expertise for the Divisions continuing education program (inclusive of the residency and fellowship programs).

The qualified candidate will be responsible for marketing, planning, and implementing strategic objectives to ensure the continued, long-term success of the program.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Plans, organizes, and delivers in-person and online continuing education programs, inclusive of residency and fellowship didactic content (approximately 30 per year)
  • Support and develop marketing plans for programs.
  • Coordinates all program logistics including but not limited to room and venue scheduling, faculty availability, hotel, transportation, parking, ordering/purchasing supplies, and catering based on individual program needs.
  • Establish and communicate timelines and deadlines with faculty regarding course presentations.
  • Manage program budget; responsibilities include payment of faculty, catering, printer, internal USC vendors, etc. Complete end of program reconciliation of expenses.

    The hourly rate range for this position is $ $33.00. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
