Description:


The MCI Tours and Introductions (T&I) Supervisor will lead a team responsible for hospitality, tours and strategic introduction services, creating an affinity for the organization and generating philanthropic referrals while extending goodwill to guests who have a strategic relationship with the Miami Cancer Institute.

Serves as the primary liaison to the MCI Executive Team, facilitating special requests made for VIP meetings and tours. This facilitation includes leading/supervising the planning, coordination, agenda development and execution of key organizational meetings alongside BHSF leaders.

The incumbent is knowledgeable about the projects and philanthropic needs across Baptist Health while identifying opportunities to leverage the grateful patient experience for increased philanthropy.

The incumbent is comfortable working with staff at all levels, including all levels of leadership and can comfortably move between hospital departments and divisions seamlessly.

Is able to lead cross-organizational teams which may not include a direct reporting relationship or authority. Is comfortable working a flexible schedule that may require night and weekend meetings. Supervisor oversees PBX department, ensuring that all operators are properly trained. Expected to provide support as needed as an operator.
Estimated pay range for this position is $ $24.32 / hour depending on experience

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required.

Must have event and project management experience, specifically with hosting philanthropic and special events for patients or guests in a hospital setting.

An extensive knowledge of oncology operations, practices and treatment equipment is desired.

This knowledge includes, but is not limited to, radiotherapy (proton and photon), chemotherapy, patient throughput/ workflow, support services and ancillary oncological services.

Must be a self-starter who works independently using good judgment with the ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and resolve issues while maintaining a supportive environment for the guest/family and the healthcare team.

Superb administrative, organizational and presentation skills. Must be comfortable presenting to an executive forum. Must be fluent in English with proven written and oral communication skills. Additional language proficiency desired.
